May 22Energy transition and decarbonization of the maritime sector are underway, and new emissions regulations impose ambitious goals for the coming decades: minimal emissions of greenhouse gases, noxious gases (NOx, SOx) and particulate matter, and zero emissions by 2100.
Given the relatively long life cycle of ships, today’s choices for shipowners, shipyards, and designers are difficult to make. What will be the fuels of the next decade, how will energy be stored, managed and distributed on board, what bunkering will be available in most ports?

May 22Siamo lieti di informare che la Sea Green Engineering ha siglato un contratto per la fornitura di servizi di ingegneria e supervisione lavori con l’OGS (Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale).
Oggetto del contratto è la progettazione finalizzata al miglioramento delle capacità operative della nave da ricerca Laura Bassi. Gli interventi principali riguardano l’ammodernamento della zona carotaggi e la realizzazione di una nuova struttura tecnica adatta all’attività di campionamento a mezzo di CTD-Rosette in ambienti polari.

We are pleased to inform that Sea Green Engineering has signed a contract for the design and work supervision services with OGS (National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics).
The subject of the contract is design aimed at improving the operational capabilities of the research vessel Laura Bassi. The main interventions concern the modernization of the coring area and the construction of a new technical structure suitable for CTD-Rosette sampling activities in polar environments.

May 22Maritime Technology Cluster FVG – mareFVG propone la quinta edizione del Next Maritime Technologies Day, il convegno dedicato alle innovazioni future nelle tecnologie marittime e che promuove l’incontro tra le aziende, il sistema della ricerca e i cittadini che si terrà venerdì 20 Maggio a Trieste (Piazza Ponterosso – ore 09:30 – 17:45).
Quest’anno il NMTD si svolgerà in tre sessioni principali e verterà sui temi della #digitalizzazione, del #green #shipping e dei #materiali.
